"Would you like to recover in peace after the hustle and bustle of Ronda? Then you have to be with Elaine and Tim. Very friendly and welcoming people and . . . a fantastic place 10 minutes outside Ronda where you can enjoy the silence, the nature and the Spanish atmosphere by the pool in different places. "Psst! You have accidentally stumbled onto the best place to stay while visiting Ronda. You may say to yourself “Gee, I ‘d rather stay in a hotel overlooking the Taja gorge.”Can’t really beat that. Aaah, but you can. You can stay here, in a casita on the grounds of a calming atmosphere, thanks to cypress and olive trees as far as the eye can see, a 200 year old fig tree providing the morning snack, and a large pool nestled amidst a grassy lawn. Elaine and Tim not only made us feel welcome they anticipated our needs and booked us restaurants that provided mouth watering tapas and memorable moments. All we had to do was ask about a possible visit somewhere and Elaine and Tim would call one of their friends to make it happen. It was like having a genie you could rub three times or your own personal concierge. All in all, our stay here was just so easy, thanks to Elaine and Tim’s thoughtfulness and warm personalities." "This place is a true gem! You‘ll hardly find a place more peaceful, calm and beautiful in this region. Elaine and Tim are truly amazing hosts who provide amazing recommendations and a lot of heart to their guests. And not to forget Salami: he operates as the best Security Guard as well as the Chief Cuteness Officer. You just gotta love him! The place is clean and comes with everything you could ask for on vacation. You fancy a swim? The pool definitely got you, as it is quite big and comes with a lot of space to hang out around it. The whole ground has so much to discover: may it be gekkos and lizards doing their thing, the stars at nighttime, an amazing view over the mountains and sunset and sunrise alike. Ronda is located pretty nice, so that you can visit several locations during a daytrip - a car is heavily recommended though. "Elaine and Tim’s place is perfect. So close to Ronda but far enough away from the crowds. Perfect for anyone wanting to discover the beautiful white villages that are not far from their home. The accommodation has all the equipment you need if you feel like cooking, with an inside or outside dining area, the bed is super comfy and the bathroom is spacious. Outside you have tons of room to move about the yard, be it around the large pool or wandering through the olive grove. Elaine and Tim are very knowledgeable on the area and will give you lots of tips on what to see and where it’s best to eat. I’m sure you’ll have a great time if you stay here, we sure did." "Elaine’s place provides a wonderful base for visits to Ronda and driving tours around the region of the Pueblos Blancos. The studio / cabin was just as we hoped and in the beautiful setting of her home and olive grove. The pictures don't lie! My wife arrived with a severe ankle injury. The understanding and support provided by the engaging Elaine and her husband was greatly appreciated and made a big difference. We always felt comfortable and relaxed here. The studio has pretty well all a couple would need. Spotlessly clean. Very quiet in the evening. You have the option of having your breakfast in the courtyard in front of your studio to watch the sun rise. Also great for that pre-dinner drink late in the afternoon! BTW Provisions can be obtained in the outskirts of Ronda at a new Aldi. It should have all you need." Ian October 2019

"this place was a real find. We were a little worried about the lack of AirCon and there being only a kitchenette, but neither were a problem. The temperature inside was easy to keep comfortable, and the kitchenette presented absolutely no problems either, (Elaine & Tim even laid on a BBQ) so dont let this worry you. The pool, the garden, the bed, the casita, the hosts, the location, ..... you name it, were all really really wonderful and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. Stay here and enjoy it." It has everything one could wish for, and it is located at a great location, within only a few kilometres from Ronda, several supermarkets, other white villages, and... well, lots of interesting things. Elaine and Tim will do everything to make you feel welcome and at home, and at the same time you feel that privacy is stil there. Beautiful mixture of the 2! And, indeed, the pictures are clear on Airbnb, but once arrived, you will find as well as we did, that the apartment, the swimmingpool, olive trees etc etc will extend your expectations. They provided some great tips on local sites and places to eat. The Casita has everything you need for a great stay and it was sparkling clean. The pool was nice and refreshing especially after a day exploring in the hot sun. Salami their little dog was very cute and friendly.
